With ‘Millennial Pink’ reigning the past few years as one of the most popular colors, I feel that we are slowly seeing more vibrant color palettes come into play. With the use of oranges, reds, luxurious greens and even a pop of blue, color is really making a big return for the upcoming seaons. I spent the other day driving around Los Angeles to find colors that currently moved and inspired me. Literally drove around, hopped out and took a picture of anything I saw that caught my eye and came up with the below color palettes. Then suddenly, I realized – there’s a pattern here – ORANGE! I am really into burnt orange, red orange, anything that adds a touch of brightness is totally my thing. Peep below for my top 5 colors palettes 🙂
This color palette uses earth tones with a pop of red orange and a hint of pistachio blue/green. I love the mixture of the soft and bold colors.
Lots and lots of orange okay! I love the pumpkin and spice feel. The pop of eggshell gives me 60’s mod vibes and i’m all about some cool vintage vibes.
This color palette goes back to the use of millennial pink. With this shade of pink I enjoy seeing it next to rich reds and deep greens now.
Deep sea green. moss green, orange and honey dijon yellow. Back to the mod vibes. I can’t help it – I LOVE that color is coming back to design.
Last but not least, this is one of my favorite color palettes. Luxurious Greens, oranges and browns. Boho/Rustic vibes are such a wave and one of my faves.
The good thing is – I won’t too much miss millennial pink. Although I’ve incorporated into my home here and there as well – after getting requests and designing about 50 thousand boutique logos and branding with it, i’m over it.
Bring on the rich, warm and luxurious colors for next season please 🙂
