Manifesting Your Goals ( f*ck new year, new me )

by

Coming into the new year, I can’t really say that I’m on some, “new year, new me” – i’ve always found that to be quite lame. More like, “new year, better me.” Getting older, I am able to identify and accept the things I need to work on and better about myself. Towards the end of the year, I like to reflect on both my personal and my business and look at what held me back and what I could’ve done better and apply that to the future.

My 2017 really started more so at the beginning of November, I sat down and started making plans for my business, short term and long term and took some serious things into consideration for my personal goals. I spent about a month back home in Texas, just to get a restart and get some much needed energy from my family so that I could start the year off with a refreshed and renewed mind. Being around my family, really does some good for me and allows me to clear my head a bit.

Another major part of manifesting my goals includes writing things down. This has ALWAYS been a part of who I am in general. If you know me, you know that I always keep a journal and planner or 2 around. Writing things down is a major part of who I am and I find it to be really beneficial in making things happen. During a meeting with Felicia LaTour, she introduced me to the Passion Planner. Finally got one as a Christmas gift and I am totally in LOVE with it. It really allows you the opportunity to map things out and get your dreams and goals together for the year.

I’m not really big on declaring and making “resolutions”, but a plan and goals that I know I can achieve and will keep. I like to make short term goals to build up to the longterm goals. It’s easier to attack and complete a short term goal, versus working towards one large one. So, look at your long term goals and make short term goals that are needed to work up to the big picture.

To help you out with this, I created a cute download that you can print out and post in your room or keep it close to you so you can look at and reflect on it and continue working towards your dreams and actually achieve them. With the download you can write out your goals and underneath write down what you need to do to accomplish them. Seeing something makes it a constant reminder that you stay on track to getting where you need / want to be.

This year focus on not worrying about what others are doing and why you aren’t where you want to be. Have tunnel vision and focus on yourself and you will soon find yourself exactly where you need to be to achieve your dreams. Happy New Year and cheers to a successful, abundant 2017!
